Diploma in Body Massage Level 2/3

We are offering an Accredited Level 2 and or Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage. This is two days intensive course or can be split in 4 half day and or on weekends and or evenings. You will learn all the basic techniques of massaging. You will also learn health and safety awareness, pre forma medical questionnaire before offering massage to clients. There will be theoretical and practical elements in the course. We offer 1 2 1 and in small groups. you will learn the techniques by massaging fellow students so you don’t need to bring a model. there are males only classes, female only classes and mix classes to chose from. the fee for the course is £250.

Acupuncture

How acupuncture is performed

Typically, an initial acupuncture session will involve an assessment of general health, a medical history and a physical examination, followed by insertion of the acupuncture needles.

Most acupuncture sessions last between 20 and 40 minutes. Courses of treatment often involve up to 10 separate sessions, but this can vary. (Read More..)

Acupressure

The term ‘acupressure’ refers to a traditional Chinese healing method in which pressure is applied by the fingertips to stimulate key points on the body to help relieve muscular pain and discomfort and restore emotional well-being.

The technique is very similar to acupuncture, though without the needles, and is guided by the same principles of many holistic therapies; that physical and mental illnesses are a result of an imbalance of the body’s energies, or ‘chi’. (Read More…)

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses essential oils that are thought to have healing properties. These oils are the concentrated essences taken from the flowers, fruit, seeds, leaves and bark of certain plants. There are about 400 essential oils, but only about 40 are commonly used in aromatherapy. Aromatherapists believe aromatherapy can boost well-being, relieve stress and help to refresh your body.. Body Wrap

A body wrap – also known as a ‘body cocoon’ or ‘body mask’ – is a spa treatment created to enhance the health and appearance of skin, and/or reduce body measurements. A nourishing oil or mineral-rich formula is applied to the spa guest’s limbs and torso before they are wrapped in cotton, mylar bandages or a plastic film. This promotes the extraction of dirt, toxins and excess water from the skin.

While most wraps are performed on the entire body (minus the face and genital area), some – such as cellulite and bust wraps – are applied to certain areas alone. (Read More…)

Facial Treatment

A facial treatment is a treatment in which a professional will assess your skin, consult about issues you may have with it, and then perform a number of steps that are targeted specifically to your skin type. The skin receives moisturizers, extracts, and vitamins with no need for cheap “carrier” ingredients! Perfect for those skin types that are reactive.

The general facial treatment includes the following steps:

  • Cleansing and toning: to get the skin clean and have a good look at what we are dealing with.
  • Exfoliation: getting rid of dead skin that has been “just sitting there” doing absolutely nothing for your skin! Making it look dull and uneven.
  • Steaming: this will soften the blackheads and get them ready for extractions.

Cupping

Massage cupping has been used in traditional Chinese medicine practices for several thousand years. Practitioners light an alcohol-soaked cotton ball with a match and insert the lit portion into a bulb-like glass “cup” in order to create a vacuum. Waxing

A form of semi-permanent hair removal that works by removing the hair from the root (rather than at the skin’s surface as with shaving or creams), to leave the area hair-free for between two and six weeks.
